I would like the SEC to offer some explanation for the scheduling process. Honestly, if I were Florida, I would be pissed that they are now going to College Station for the third time since A&M joined and Georgia is not scheduled to make their first appearance until 2024. There may be some scheduling issue that forces this, but it should be explained. I understand that last year was covid and things got out of whack. But next year should not be unless there is some scheduling algorithm that causes this.
Of course, if OU and Texas join early, this is all down the drain.

All those FCS teams is his point. Well Texas Tech is playing Murray State. So what’s the standard again? USC’s OOC sucks next year. Not quite sure what happened but usually we are playing one of ECU/App State/Coastal/UNC/NC State type opponent plus Clemson. FYI South Carolina is in conference for Arkansas.

UGA is the only SEC team that plays 10 P5 teams.....
Making them the only SOS equal to Big12, Pac12, BUG10 and ACC...
The rest play the weakest SOS in CFB.
it’s funny how brainwashed people are when you break it down.

The SEC is down slightly from a couple of years ago, but still ahead of the other conferences. SOS is only 1/3 of the schedule.

It really is sad that every other league places 9 OOC games... they play 8... they also all got a FCS... for the supposed kings of CFB that no one dare challenge why do an FCS? always confused me why they do that crap.

What is this Florida discussion? You mean 9 conference games, not OOC. Also, the ACC plays the same number as the SEC. How many power 5 do you play this year?

A lot of those FCS teams are in-state teams that really need the payday. That is what the schools claim, but when you look at who they are actually playing very few are giving more than lip service to in state schools. Georgia hasn't played an in state FCS school since Georgia Southern was FCS. Bama has almost never done it. Auburn has a little bit and other schools a little. LSU seems to be the best about actually playing in state schools. I don't mind helping smaller schools, but they should be honest about it and not claim helping a fellow state school.

LSU has played a lot of in state schools. McNeese being the latest one. I believe that LSU is playing Southern next year - it is an all black college located in Baton Rouge.
I would like to see LSU start playing Tulane again. They use to be pretty big rivals although LSU dominated the series.
