They just hit a flock of home runs in Cincinnati. Not necessarily a big deal in that small park. But tonight, 5 home runs with one out in the 2d inning at Truist which is hardly like the Great American Smallpark. Goodness, the entire lineup is a homerun threat.

They have been playing incredible ball. The offense is getting a lot of credit, and it is well deserved, but the starting pitching is starting to look really great. Strider and Elder have been phenomenal. Hopefully Fried will regain form when he returns from the DL.

Looks like Soroca will be called up as well. He has been outstanding in his last 3 AAA starts and was named Minor League pitcher of the week. It would be great to see this kid comeback after all he has been through.

I like the team chemistry that the Braves have now. I went to one of the Colorado games and was lucky enough to have seats just a few rows behind home plate. I don't know if I enjoyed the high fives and hugs more, or the free food in the Delta Sky Club.

There is no one in the lineup right now you don't have to worry about being a threat to send one over the wall. I cannot recall ever seeing a Braves lineup this dangerous. Strider had a couple rough starts but has looked back to form in his last 2. Elder has been great. And Acuna is the best player in MLB right now.

Acuna is certainly the best player in the NL right now, but there is this fella over in the AL with that team with Halos that is pretty remarkable in his own way.

Even Braves losing has been in mini streaks. Caution though, Dodgers won 111 games last year and didn't make it to the Fall Classic. Boston Bruins broke all time record NHL regular season and lost in first round. But for sure, Braves are bludgeoning their opponents right now. Might be the best offensive lineup I have seen since the 95 Cleveland Indians.

Just call them the Bomb Squad. 7 guys with 14 HR's or more. Hopefully Fried, and Wright can get to 100% by October.

The Braves have a series at the Rays starting Friday of this week leading up to the All-Star break. That should be a great series!

Great play, but the Red Sox runner on second is dumber than dirt. He was out by 3 miles. Braves got screwed in that first inning because 2d baseman did not catch that line drive but it wasn't reviewable. Leaving way too many men on base tonight.

I will be at one of the Braves/Bucs games at PNC next week, actually hoping for Tuesday and Thursday. I’m sure the Braves are very scared of the Pirate lineup. But just let them know that if they just play their game, don’t try to do too much, they should be ok.

At least Bucs aren't an AL team. Braves have had fits with teams from the AL this year. I feel so sorry for all the wasted money on the Metropolitans.

I don't know why other than it is just baseball. Braves are 68-37 overall. They are 46-17 vs NL teams and 22-20 vs AL teams. NL leads AL overall 257-236. Over half their losses are to AL teams even though only 1/3 of their games have been against AL teams.

First 3 innings, Braves and Cubs, 9 up and 9 down. Both teams. Top of the 4th, Braves bludgeoning the Cubbies with a 7 spot including back to back dingers by Sean Murphy and Ozuna. Long way to go in a park like Wrigley and not sure how long Fried can go.

Kyle's first horrible start in quite a long time, but otherwise has been very solid this year.
Great to get a bounce back win today though with it basically being a bullpen day for the Cubs (Stroman on the IL, was his turn in the rotation). Now we got one of the best in the business going tomorrow in hopes for a series win! Braves have been absolutely killing it, though and with the Cubs fighting for a playoff spot, getting 2 out of 3 against the best in the NL would be massive.

Not to hijack your thread, but...big series win for the Cubs. 1.5 games out of first and also in position to pass the Reds in the Wild Card after being dead in the water once May was over.
Braves are scary up and down that lineup still. Olson hit a mammoth home run today.
