Tim Tebow Reveals What Deion Sanders Is Like Behind The Scenes
Story by Chris Rosvoglou
There's no question about it, Tim Tebow is a huge fan of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders.
Tebow has known Sanders since his early days in the NFL. While plenty of people have seen what "Coach Prime" is like in front of the cameras, they don't get to see what he's like behind the curtains.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, the former Heisman Trophy winner raved about Sanders' character.
"We actually got to do an event together last year, and it’s just … he loves people," Tebow said. "He cares about people. At this event, he went out of his way for a while to answer questions, encourage people, care for people. I hope people understand that it’s not just done when the cameras are there. It’s also done behind the scenes, and he cares about people.
"He really, really genuinely cares about people, and I think that’s contagious. I think you see it in his players. I think you see it in his coaches. I think you see it in the people when they’ve been around him. They see it, and then you want to be around people like that — people that care, people with passion, people with enthusiasm for life, for their sport. That’s something that’s always been contagious to me."
Tebow also raved about Sanders' ability to turn boys into men through football.
Sanders will be back in the spotlight this Saturday when he leads Colorado into battle against Oregon.

Same stuff we have heard from former Braves players who played with him in Atlanta. No reason to doubt that it is true.

I can't wait to read the next article on Deion. Which should be coming out any second now.

I don't think Tebow has ever said a bad word about anyone. I think he's a great role model for everyone, I wish we had more people like him. It would be interesting to see what kind of coach he would be.

You know who Dion is?
He is the Donald Trump of CFB.... think about it....
1. He wasn't a coach pedigree.... he came in kinda out of no where but was worldly known. 2. He walked in and day 1 broke the normal cycle of events. People said "you can't do tat!"... 3. He has had his own marriage issues. 4. He has kids that people love or hate for some reason that are right there with him in the spotlight. 5. He is breaking records left and right for popularity and following 6. he says whats on his mind and is not PC 7. they both took a organization in the shitter to immediate new heights in short time. 8. his pears love him or hate him, talk shit about his methods. 9. His appearance is always a topic
I mean, thats just off the top of my head..... but think about the 2 and how they are looked at today...... Dion is the Trump of CFB.

His pears love him, but does he love pears? Or does he prefer apples?

One of two things is likely going to happen over the next few weeks, the Buffs keep winning and the amount of attention paid to Prime and the program will only continue to escalate or if they go and lose 2 of the next 3 or all 3 then the story lines will die down.

For sure. I'm sure that Prime will secure an NIL deal for all of his players to have cars, watches, sunglasses, and hats.... he has to keep the hype train going.

If they beat Oregon and USC they deserve the attention

If they beat Oregon and USC they deserve the attention Why do find it necessary for them to beat those two teams to deserve attention? If they go 6-6 for the season, wouldn't that be a successful season after going 1-11?

It would be an outstanding season and it would be worthy of coach of the year. I think the problem for a lot of people right now is this overwhelming domination of coverage that frankly I have never seen before. Last year, Lance Leiphold took Kansas to early success and he got SOME attention, but nothing like this. And Kansas was BY LIGHT YEARS the worst team in all of Power 5 America. Maybe if they had beaten Michigan in the Big House like App State did, it would be a bit more understandable. I think it is a great story. My issue is that it has been overblown like no other story I can ever recall.

Yes 6-6 would be a really big success, but going 6-6 isn't getting anyone coach of the year (except maybe coach prime)., it's not that he is getting attention, it is the massively overblown amount of attention he is getting after 3 games against not so great competition. He's been on 60 minutes twice? It's a bit over the top and ridiculous.

When was the last time you changed channels on your TV when they started talking about him? What happens next year when Colorado jumps into the Top 10 in recruiting rankings? The coverage will be even more widespread than it is now.

At this point in the season, I really do T mind the coverage on Colorado and what Prime has done. At this point there really aren’t all that many great story lines. As I said earlier, it will work itself out by the end of the season. It’s either going to be amplified even more because they’re winning or it will die off if the losses start to mount and by the end of the season we’ll hardly recall being so outraged at the early coverage.
There could also be a middle ground where they are 8-4 and 9-3, likely still getting a ton of coverage.
All that said, their game last week at 10:30 EST was the 5th highest rated game EVER on ESPN. A late night game that otherwise would have been lucky to draw the 1/4 of that audience was the 5th highest rated CFB game ever. So of course the execs at the networks are going to ride every ounce that they can out of this because it is such a polarizing story.

His kids getting arrested or accused of sexual assault. Stealing a lap top. Those are just a few things that people who want to see Prime fail or fall would point towards.

Look dion has always been in the spotlight. Always been one for the cameras and bling. He went to Jackson St.... and had success with brining in players that could have gone a lot of bigger places...... CU was willing to take a chance and got him after being 1-11..... he cane in and immediately got attention focused on CU by opening the doors and basically dismissing the entire team. Using the portal and NIL to build a team from ground up. He struck gold by playing a TCU that licked its way to the slaughter in the NCG..... They escaped with a win... that was a perf3ct storm after the offseason of unheard of rebuilding. Dion is hype. That’s nit a bad thing. He himself IS hype, Lance at KU was nit hype. He built traditionally.... got a QB and Won easy SOS last year. But he wasn’t hype. Saw a post that said “Dion has already paid off his entire contract by money brought into the school.... he will be worth $1Billion to CU over his contract....” Until he loses. It was similar at TTU with Kingsbury. I mean remember all the “Coach Cool” things? The call for him to be on “The Bachelor”..... his 1st with 2FR QB’s and going to a bowl after JFF and Tech being so bad? ? And then he started losing and everything went away.
