The Braves, former self-appointed home run celebration police, are now saying get rid of the fans.
I fully agree, and I hope that if the Dodgers meet the Braves in the NLCS not one single Braves fan shows up, and if they do show up, I hope they sit there quietly in order to show support for their team.

Unless Atlanta gets some pitching miracle, you might not need to worry about playing the Braves.

Speaking of HR celebrations, can we get a Braves fan to weigh in on whether or not this one is acceptable?

I'm not sure that he was serious.

Speaking of HR celebrations, can we get a Braves fan to weigh in on whether or not this one is acceptable? No, it isn't to me. He and Acuna are two of the worst when it comes to this stuff. I'm not a part of the "Let the kids be kids" crowd. They're not kids, they're all adults. They're also professionals. Not to mention the lack of sportsmanship is a terrible example for kids.

I thought the Phillies were the celebration police?

MLB made them get rid of the big hat celebration. I do think Ozuna's was a little drawn out and over the line.

But this is hardly now just a Braves deal. Lots of teams are doing it. When I mention it I get told to get off of "their" lawn. I prefer the way Riley, Olsen and Albies do it.

Sure, but wasn't it just a few years ago that we were defending Brian McCann, self appointed HR celebration police, for fighting opposing players for celebrating HRs?

None of it is as unacceptable as the Cubs' bullpen the last two nights against the Braves. Must win tonight. Must take 2 out of 3 against the Brewers to end the season and maybe we can discuss playoffs

You might not have to watch those awful Astros Daniel - looks like they have gone into a funk and might not even make the playoffs.

But then it was the exception. Now, with the Hispanic influence in the game it is what it is.

If you don't want them to have HR celebrations, don't let them hit HRs...
