Want to hear a good one. My son is a partner in a generator company. They sell commercial generators. They just sold some generators to a company that has chargers for electric cars. Electric cars being charged by chargers that run off of diesel generators. That sure is green and clean energy my arse.

I know of no one out here in Wyoming with a fully electric car. There are hybrids that can be decent choices, but when a shopping trip to the nearest Sam's Club, Target, or Costco is a 260 mile round trip, and winter storms can have 12"+ of snow and -20° temperatures, an all-electric car is not a reasonable choice right now.

id like to see all the electric car owners in florida sitting on I75 and I95 stuck in traffic trying to head north away from a hurricane and see how that goes.
perhaps a video of a fistfight at a charging station would be in order.

I won't piss on electric vehicles as they have their place and purpose and am considering one for my next car. Well, a Hybrid. I see the benefit of such in my arsenal of vehicles. No reason at all for me to piss on them just because they exist out there as an option. I know many a people who have hybrids/all electric, or are heading that way.

Electricity is for chairs and lamps not cars.

I am fascinated by electric automobiles, tractors, and construction equipment. Having a mini-excavator working in a building without worrying about poisoning the tenants of that building isn't all bad. We have a ways to go with the concept, and I'm not sure it is the answer to the issues we are having, but still very interesting. Once battery life is increased and there is a sustainable way to recycle the batteries they may become a replacement for the internal combustion engine.

I am sure there will be a big use for electric cars and maybe some other non fossil fuel to move autos.
But how does would it take to have all the fossil fuel vehicles replaced in the U.S.?
