One of the biggest storylines in college football this season has been Michigan's sign-stealing scandal involving former staffer Connor Stalions. As expected, Michigan's advancement to the national title game has drawn attention to the scandal once again.
During Wednesday's College Football Playoff teleconference, J.J. McCarthy admitted that the sign-stealing scandal ticked him off. He feels like it was made a bigger deal than it actually is. Per McCarthy, he estimates 80 percent of college football teams steal signs.
McCarthy also adds that Michigan had to "adapt" and improve its sign-stealing methods because Ohio State was so good at in 2019 and 2020. In other words, McCarthy believes the Buckeyes are to blame for the Wolverines' advanced sign-stealing methods.
“I also feel like it’s so unfortunate because, you know, there’s probably, I don’t want to say a crazy number, but I’d say a good number, 80% of teams in college football steal signs,” McCarthy said on Wednesday. “It’s just a thing about football.
“You know, it’s been around for years. We actually had to adapt because in 2020 or 2019 when Ohio State was stealing our signs, which is legal. We had get up to the level that they were at, and we had to make it an even playing field.”

So was it just TTU/Cal or are all bowl games using headsets in helmets?

So was it just TTU/Cal or are all bowl games using headsets in helmets? It was a test program. I think some teams opted out of trying it. Not sure, but believe it was an option given to the teams. But both had to agree on it.

But both had to agree on it. It is cool that once again TTU has made a "1st" for CFb... 1. First to use headsets 2. first to be in a game with replay 3. first to measure 'hang time' on punt 4. first to fly to a game (Ol Miss also makes this claim in 1937, same year but looks like TTU was 1st) I saw another list with 3 or 4 other things about mascots/cheerleaders etc.... crazy...

Now theirthere is a since deleted podcast an Ohio State lineman was on talking about how Ohio State really didn't practice too hard, did not use their practices like they did last year, etc, and painted a bleak picture in and around the program. "Just for Men" Day may be tap dancing on thin ice!

"Just for Men" Day may be tap dancing on thin ice! It gets old quick when you constantly pull premier talent every cycle and still fall short of the line to gain.

And those same players when they reach the NFL seem to be really good players.
Has to be coaching?

Maybe these are 2 of the 3 or 4 other things about mascots/cheerleaders.
