I miss the days where I loved the sport enough to actually be in a position to know any of those names.

Would be surprised if J.J. McCarthy comes back to Ann Arbor. The Wolverines lose just about everything, including the offensive line that protects him. I know the QB competition in the draft is high this year, but he might be risking it next year.

Stopped reading at Nico, what a fuckin' joke. Remember Justin Fields's odds when he went to OSU? It was even crazier. And, Nico needs to get into weight room if he wants to survive as a "running" QB. And, I will worry about what a Gator says in regards to lists which includes Georgia, or Georgia players, when they can qualify for a Bowl. I mean, even 6-6 teams get in.

A little bit off the subject, but what are your thoughts on the Heisman being delayed until after the bowl/playoff games? This might incentivize some players to finish out the season if it is dependent on those games for the Heisman. I realize that it might include some of the player's teammates to play as well. Even if that worked, it would be a small number of players impacted. For that matter, why not delay all all star picks until after the bowl games. Makes no sense to make these awards before the bowl games if we are trying to get more meaning out of those games.

The problem I see with that is that it gives a player an extra game over one that might not be in a bowl game, or the player's team might have a bunch of players decide to not play, thus changing the overall performance of team and player.

On that "note"...I would take Carson Beck over the other two he shares equal odds with. And, that is not based on him being a Bulldog. That I s based on what I have seen this season. I just like Beck's ability to pass the ball, distribute, and make all the throws, though some have been errant. For a first year starter...I like this young man's future at QB.

One thing a Heisman QB candidate needs is a couple of outstanding WR's. Without them, the QB becomes an average QB, IMO.
