Until next years college begins.
I am at an age where making it until next season is a very long time. But I am looking forward to a few more at least. I am curious as to how the next season pans out with the huge conferences we now have.
How will Oklahoma and Texas blend in with the SEC and how will the PAC teams blend in with BIG? It might take a couple of years to work out future schedules and if it will be one large conference or broken into smaller units. And add the transfer portal and NIL woes to the equation.
Any thoughts?

I fill that void with round ball. I am a huge basketball fan. I have also started to enjoy college baseball. I still watch MLB and attend games whenever I get our work seats. That Delta Suite is nice and the Xfinity Suite is also nice. I also like to fish. to fill that void. These activities keep me from getting too upset with the Transfer Portal, recruiting, or NIL.
As far as Texas and Oklahoma, they will do fine. It isn't as if they haven't been playing big boy football. Will they lose? Of course. Some other SEC teams may get a loss or two because of the addition of quality teams.

I use to be a huge basketball fan, now mostly luke warm. But what I like is college baseball. I have been following LSU baseball for about 45 years. We probably will not do as well as last year - National champs. Hard to match last year's team. What is going to make me mad is streaming video. Pay for view is on the horizon. I have watched LSU for a lot of years on streaming video. But I see that coming to end as I will not pay much for streaming video. I say that, but if push comes to shove - I probably would pay.
As for basketball - I don't watch much regular season, but I still enjoy the March Madness tourney.

Here in the Rocky Mountain region we are eager to see if the PAC-2 merge with the Mountain West to become The Magnificent Double Seven or the Rest of the West or some such.
The ACC is waiting to see who wants the Painted White Boys on Horses, if they leave, as expected. I think it would make sense to "court" UConn for the sake of ACC basketball and enjoy having an in-conference Power 5 patsy for football to toy with. Interesting times for sure!

I thought this was going to be a thread about Chip's coaching.

So do the Bruins get a win next year in Tiger Stadium? Only if they are playing the baseball team in Detroit. Seriously, the offense *should* be decent, especially with the recent withdrawal from the portal/draft of a few players. Garbers should be the starter from the get go this time around, which should help his confidence. LSU's defense may help here. So I do think UCLA can score some points. Of course, the UCLA D may get torched. So win? No way.

I don't know how good or bad the defense will be next year, but the Tigers will have a brand new defensive coaching staff. Almost all of them have a LSU connection - having coached at LSU in the past.
Blake Baker - DC - from Missouri where he was DC. He coached the LB at LSU in 2021.
Bo Davis - DL - from Texas where he was DC. He played for the Tigers in the 90's.
Kevin Peoples DE & Edge rushers from Missouri where was DL.
Corey Raymond - DB - from Florida where he was DB coach. He was the DB coach at LSU when the Tigers called themselves Defensive Back U. Plus he was the recruiter for all the great DB's LSU had.
It looks great on paper - have to perform on the field next year.
Should be a great game.
