Welcome to life at the top tier of the NCAA where your coaches are raided along with losing top talent every year.

Thanks a lot transfer portal and NIL for screwing up college football. WTF? This statement is like blaming the gun, instead of the shooter, for the murder of an innocent victim.

Tigers had that problem right after the NC in 2919 - a bad combo - lot of seniors, lot of great players entering the NFL early and poor roster management by Coach "O". As Geaux Tigers has mentioned a couple of times about the the LSU roster. I think it was about 36 scholarship players traveled to Houston to face Kansas State in the Texas bowl. The Tigers didn't have a scholarship QB - basically a QB that had played a down the current year.
With fifth-year wide receiver Jontre Kirklin getting the nod as QB1, it was a tough outing for the loyal Tiger, who hasn’t taken meaningful snaps at quarterback since his senior year of high school.
It was a difficult spot to put Kirklin in, but the Tigers weren’t left with many options, electing to sideline freshman quarterback Garrett Nussmeier to keep his redshirt year intact. Just 38 scholarship players suiting up, the depleted roster of LSU did as best they could given the situation.
So I can feel for you bil.

That is what happens to great teams after the season is over. Unless you have first and second year players - but then perhaps the team is not as good.
