I remember coaching in Little League and had a good friend who also coached. Little League tryouts was in February and it seemed like every year in was cold and rainy. Hard to really judge how good the players really were. So you would watch the boys run, bat and throw the ball. So you would try to grade each player on how they could run, hit and throw and hope for the best when drafting players for a team.
My friend had a column that had the initials GLM at the top. My sheet had the usual hit, run, throw columns.
I asked him what GLM stood for - His reply Good Looking Mom.
True story.
