Did anyone of you catch the ESPN Gameday-type story on Gary Woodland on "Live From the Masters"?
Talk about a tear welling story. Damn!
All sinking in for me as I have been busty with life stories affecting a dear friend of mine, my own BS, and well...now it is time for the Masters! I am all in!
Not pulling for "Scottie"! (Not pulling against, either.) Just hoping for the ebb and flows the Masters often provides yearly. Old school hanging early. Young upstarts flexing their "naiveté"! With many other stories bubbling up from the haven they call...
The Masters!
Let's do this!
(Damn you, Mama Nature for making it interesting tomorrow with some predicted insane conditions.)

Tiger looks like he is in a lot of pain this morning. Yesterday he looked pretty good, but it looks painful early today.

Tiger looks like he is in a lot of pain this morning. Yesterday he looked pretty good, but it looks painful early today. The fact that he shot even for his second round while in laying 23 holes today is really impressive given the conditions.

Glad to see him make the cut. I don't have a favorite this year, except that I don't want a LIV golfer to win. Today, the wind has died down here in Atlanta so I suspect scores will go down in Augusta.

Congrats to Scottie! Helluva week and enduring some tough conditions at some points. Such a grounded and humble champion. Really enjoy his game and his personality.

Not sure if anyone watched, but yesterday was the last round Verne Lundquist will ever call at the (16th) of Augusta. He's had some iconic calls on the hold. It was a great moment before he went on air. He was sitting by himself near the 16th green and Tiger Woods made it a point to seek him out, shake his hand, and say a few words. 2 x G O A T S

Congrats to Scottie! Helluva week and enduring some tough conditions at some points. Such a grounded and humble champion. Really enjoy his game and his personality. He's simply playing out of his mind. He's machine like. The irony is, if you googled the best swings in golf, he may be on page 1000 of that book. His feet are all over the place, his body moves, yet he stripes on every swing. ...and yes, hes such a grounded and humble guy, makes it easy to root for. I saw in his post game presser, A reporter asked him if Golf will begin taking a back seat with the expected berth of his first child shortly. He said of course not but golf will slide down to 4th on my list behind my child, wife, and family.

They call him, "The King".

Two greats that will always be linked together in the golf lores for Tiger’s chip on 16 and Vern’s call is certainly one of the all time great Masters moments.

Such an impressive individual and great ambassador for the game. And yeah, his swing is definitely his own and as I’ve always thought as long as you can be comfortable with it and get results, then so be it. His relationship with his coach Randy Smith is really admirable and the fact that both were open to bringing in a putting coach last fall is further evidence of how humble both are. It’s all about winning for them.

I think you guys said it all. A pleasure to pull for that guy. Enjoyed watching Homa and the young Swede, Aberg as well. Augusta is so special.

On Friday, Jason Day came out early to finish his round from Thursday. He was wearing a very odd sweater vessel. Evidently the Augusta National GC asked Day to remove his billboard type sweater. Out of respect Day removed the sweater without any incident. Of course the media asked Day what was his agenda, he laughed and basically said are you serious. He then stated that the tour players have their clothes selected for them for each day by their sponsors.
