I don't disagree that UGAs QB was better. But his point about the WRs was that our WRs didn't have the stats to back it up... Then he turned around and said his QB, without the stats, was better. If you read through, you will see that I trapped him in exactly what you are saying. Ummm...No. I never said we had the best QB in the East, you said you had the best WR's in the East. I just said our QB was better than yours and our WR's were as good as UT's. Not much difference in the ESPN outlook. As far as experience... 8. Hutson Mason, RSr., Georgia: Mason has waited his turn while sitting behind the record-setter Aaron Murray and even redshirted in 2012 to get this opportunity. He's an accurate passer and knows the offense inside and out. He played late last season after Murray was injured, which should help the transition. Mason's another one who could easily shoot up this list. 9. Justin Worley, Sr., Tennessee: The best news for Worley is that he'll have more guys around him who can make plays. The Vols played their best football last season before Worley injured his thumb. They nearly knocked off Georgia and upset South Carolina with Worley at the helm. He's improved his arm strength and has worked hard this offseason. His senior season should be his best yet.

I am impartial and I would take Georgia's WR because they have done it when it matters and not just on a practice field. Mitchell (if healthy), Bennett, Scott-Wesley, Conley are a damn solid group of WRs not nearly as talented as North, Pearson, Malone, Croom, Howard, Smith. North 496 yards in 11 games (45 a game) Pearson nothing Malone nothing Croom 269 yards in 12 games (22 a game) Howard 388 yards in 12 games (32 a game with just 8 yards a catch) Smith 182 yards in 12 games (16.5 yards a game) Awful lot of talent for very little production. Talent means very little if they are not producing on the field. Conley 651 yards in 11 games Bennett 538 in 11 games and not fully healthy Scott-Wesley 311 in 5 games Mitchell injured but 572 the year before sorry but talk talent all you want...production is there for Georgia

Alright...let's see what ESPN thinks about the receivers in the SEC and specifically the East. 3. Georgia: How can you not like Chris Conley? Not only did he write and direct a "Star Wars" fan film, he’s also a pretty good receiver with 45 catches for 651 yards last season. Starting opposite him, if his health holds up, should be Malcolm Mitchell. The redshirt junior has loads of potential, as he was second on the team in receiving in 2011 and 2012. Throw in Jay Rome, one of the more underrated tight ends in the SEC, and that’s a good group for quarterback Hutson Mason to work with. 8. Tennessee: Butch Jones has a lot to be excited about when it comes to his receivers this season. But until the status of Pig Howard is determined, that excitement is on hold. The talented receiver was forced to miss all of the spring with “personal issues.” If he can return and join Marquez North, it would make for a formidable one-two punch. Add top signee Josh Malone into the mix and whoever starts under center should be happy with what he’s working with. That said, without a single starter returning on the offensive line, time for the quarterback to throw downfield could be a big obstacle.

I didn't have a vote in that. Part of the production issue was that Tennessee was down to Josh Dobbs as QB. While very talented, Tennessee built the team around Worley, Peterman, or Ferguson's style of play. Dobbs was supposed to redshirt and due to injury, Tennessee was forced to play a dual threat QB who was not ready. Mitchell was also named as preseason All SEC. Isn't Mitchell out with a knee injury again?

Show me on the field...preseason awards mean nothing. Florida was ranked Top 10 last year based on "talent" and Auburn wasn't ranked
I agree Tennessee has some highly sought after players at WR that have potential but potential doesnt mean shit. Georgias group has made plays on the field

Eh.... "ECB"... It's just awesome to see our "big players" at church, children's homes.... On mission trips..... And then others getting busted for weed.... Pulling guns on gf's.... Charged with rape, accused of rape, stealing crab legs, busted for more drugs, DWI, burgerly.... I like nit being in the news actually. You are wearing blinders. All of the teams have players at church, children's homes and on mission trips. Not what news wants to report. I know that..... I was referring to our QB's every year..... Our lean leading skill players etc.... Our guys never get into trouble like these felons.

When is the last time you heard of a player getting in trouble at UT Martin?

Who was the player in the last week or two that was busted for drugs right after going to an elementary school to support their D.A.R.E. program?
