Ive talked with some of my educated football friends about this possibility that popped into my head about halftime of the heroes being conquered:
No matter the outcome of tOSU game, Carr is gone after the season. Les Miles is courted and takes the job at UM. Miles is a Mich guy and it is widely known that UM is his ultimate job. After Les books it to Ann Arbor, Jimbo Fisher comes in to take over the Tigers in the Red Stick.
Does anyone else see this as a possilbe scenario at the end of the season?

I believe Carr is done. He wanted to retire last year.

ng - in college football anything is possible - hell Satan could return to LSU - (NOT) or (maybe not) -
But I'm guessing "IF" Miles left LSU it would be for UM.
Still 11 games left - anything can and probably will happen.

Brutus - you've been driving that Carr so damn long I wouldn't want to trade it in either - just remember to change the oil and check the air in the tires -

Close but Jimbo won't get the job in Red Stick. There is someone within the AD that has cloes ties with Spurrier from the UF days. My guess is that Stevo would be the #1 target. Notice I said TARGET. I doubt he would come. Other names are already being discussed but I think it's too early to even think about that shit. After all, Les is going to bomb out this season isn't he? That seems to be the general opinion.

And by the way. I think LSU would promote Pelini before they hire Jimbo.

Spurrier @ LSU? Ha! He'd be sleeping with half the SEC @ that point. There's dirty verbage for gals that do similar things....

Here's another name for you...Adolf Hitler.
If Spurrier DID go to LSU it would confirm that he wants to be hated by as many people as possible in the south. Not unlike myself.

My one concern with Pelini would be his recruiting ability. Then again Sagan is as big of an asshole as they come and he manages.
Ready for some of the other names I've heard? Jon Gruden, Jack Del Rio.

Gruden maybe, Del Rio not way.
I think you need a college guy who's had great success recruiting on that level....Pete Carroll!

Let's be realistic here. This is so premature it doesn't have a birth weight yet. We should save this shit until this time next year.

Steve doesn't like snow. He wouldn't come up here. He doesn't like the prospects of having to wear long underwear. Conversely...Michigan fans (myself included) wouldn't know what to do with a coach whose head isn't connected to his colon.

Maybe Nutt would like to move a little east. I hear text messaging is much cheaper in La.

It is a shame that Phillip Fulmer is on such a hot seat. All he has done is average 9 or more wins per season since he has been coaching. Playing in the SEC and getting 9 wins per season is tough. Sure he loses a game now and then that he shouldn't, but he has won a few that he shouldn't too. He won a NC when FSU was supposed to clean our clock. Not only did UT win, they dominated FSU. I understand that is in the past, but there aren't too many coaches available who have his resume'.

I said at the beginning of the season that Virginia's Coach Al Groh would be fired at the end. Is there any doubt now?
