Very good game one for the Pens, hopefully they can hold serve and go up 2-0 tonight. I think that the Flyers will play more disciplined tonight, so it should be a good one. If the Pens can get another early lead, that may unravel the Flyers and have them taking loads of penalties again. Really nice win for the Ducks last night. That series could be a very interesting 1 vs 8 matchup!

All this talk about the Pens....Fuck the Pens...thats my two sense about the Pens. Sydney Crosby is a bitch. Go Rangers! I have to hate Ovechkin for this series but he's an unbelievable terrifying player, I was cringing everytime he got the puck on Wednesday.

So far Roberto Luongo is single-handedly beating the Blues. The guy might be playing the best hockey of anyone in the League right now, regardless of position.

Mason has played great but he has been beaten on a couple of deflections he had zero chance of saving. The Blues, when they finally get something by him it hits the post. I am looking forward to Sunday's game in St. Louis, I suspect Luongo is going to have to stand on his head in order to give the Canucks a chance. Personally, I see this series still going 7 games (unless Luongo steals this series).

CBJ got the shit kicked out of them, this series is over. At least they made the playoffs this year. Hopefully Mason and Nash step up. At this point I'd just like to see them win a game or two and not get swept.

The Blues have actually been playing some damn good hockey, I think if they can keep playing the way they have been the puck's will find their way in to the net.... I hope.

So much for the Pens running through the playoffs with a 16-0 record after their giveaway to the Flyers today. As long as they can bounce back Tues, all is well though.
Caps are laying eggs, Detroit looks great as usual and Vancouver might be a little tougher in the West than most expected.

I only got to see part of the secong period yesterday, but the Flyers looked like a different team. Pens will need to dial it up a knotch on Tues.

Don't count out the Sharks-Ducks matchup in the West. Two teams that dislike each other and played much closer than the standings would indicate. I think the Sharks win, but it will hardly be a cake walk.
Well lookie here. Ducks up 2-0 and going back home.

Pens take control of the series (hopefully) behind the defense and goaltending for a change... they could be scary if Fleury plays like he did last night consistently....

Fleury was great last night. Pens are looking real good right now.
I hope the Caps can turn it around and even the series. Watching the Rangers move on to the next round is about as lackluster as it gets if you ask me.
