This is the list of the top 50 players ever to play the game of basketball according to slam magazine.
I don't agree with many of these rankings for a number of reasons. Were is D-Wade? Why isn't Lebron ranked higher? Seriously Jason Kidd is above him!

Here is my top 3 1.MJ 2.Oscar Robertson 3.Magic Johnson Oscar is way too high IMO. He only has one title, right? True but im being kind of bias! Im always been a fan of Big-O. ;D I'm a Pistons fan all the way but, I had to have Mj at number 1. Watching Mj was a privilege.

Seems okay to me. The big men dominate the top ten. Lebron will probably move up the list, and D-Wade may make it, as time goes on.

Im sure Dwight Howard will be on there as well sometime. not unless he learns how to score without dunking...he was invisible in the finals

#42 on the list will be steadily moving up. He will end up in the top 15 at worst IMO.

There are plenty of young guy's in the league who could have a chance to crack this list.
Danny Granger is just one of many others.
I think he has the ability to be on the list in the future. I know the Pacers are not that good of a team (don't tell Teddy I said that) but Danny is an excellent player. Danny is a scorer, and I like his ability.
Derek Rose Chris Paul Kevin Durant Brandon Roy
These guys could make it on this list. Im sure there are many other young players I left out.

Not a bad list. I would like to see the criteria they used though. As some guys who didn't win a lot of championships are fairly high on the list (which seems to the barometer for NBA players).
No real big complaints though...
Can't believe someone mentioned J. Kidd being on the list, like he didn't belong. A great assist man and deserving of top 30 IMO.

A little premature on all of them, but they do have a nice upside.

I understand D-Wade gets hurt a lot but doesn't he put up star efforts pretty much every season he is healthy?
Hasn't he already won a championship?
Let me guess it doesn't count because it was with Shaq?
I still don't understand what Slam magazine was thinking when they developed there list. I know I mentioned this earlier but, were is D-Wade?
I agree with most of the list, but were is D-Wade?

D-Wade is a helluva player (once again) and he definitely deserves to be mentioned on this list.

I really think CP3 will be on the list in the near future.
I love CP3 ability and I think he is a very instinctive PG.
Same with D-Will.

Had Dominique put forth more effort on defense, he would be ranked higher. JMO
