I don't care that much who wins. I am an NL fan, so it really doesn't matter to me. But this is really something that should be reviewable, especially in the playoffs. Tonight on MLB Network they mentioned it and brought up that they don't want to slow the game down. I just about choked. Slow the game down? A couple of reviews won't slow down these games, especially not the American League games that never end. They take forever anyway. You never know what would have happened in the inning for the Twins. If Mauer hits that double, they might have gone on and had a bigger inning. I can fully understand missing a close one, but this was not remotely close. The smaller market teams already operate under a tremendous disadvantage in these games and then to have this happen. Sucks big time. I've always been a proponent of fair/foul and homer yes/no replay.

I am kind of old school on this but I just wish MLB would hire some umpires who could make obvious calls right

So the Phils and Rockies have been postponed. Gives Blanton another day to rest up.

I thought Pedro was going in Game 3 I think they may go with Blanton now. Just a hunch. If they had played tonight I think Pedro would have pitched, but now I think Blanton might go.

The Rockies are not good against lefties. The day off should give him time to heal from being hit, and the other guys can be ready for bullpen work.

I would love that, but I'm not sure his leg is ready. If so then, that would be my vote.

They also mentioned, btw, that they were disappointed that Pedro would not be going, and were wondering if he had would it be the first time that the age of the starting pitcher was higher than the game time temperature.

LOL. That is precisely why Pedro would not have pitched tonight. He takes 2 innings under ideal conditions let alone freezing conditions.

And ANOTHER run for the Dodgers. 4-0. Cardinal pitching will shut down the Dodger bats any minute now.

13 runs in 3 games for an ERA of 4 1/3. For the second year in a row the Dodgers are going to sweep a team that was supposed to kick the crap out of them.

Right....I'm not sure I remember the Dodgers taking too many from them. Considering the Phils haven't been there too many times, I can pretty much remember them all. That being said, you are a bit older than I am, so you might be going back a little further in time.
