Heard this rumor today. Lakers let Odom go, pick up Boozer. Hello back to back titles. Who's coming off the bench? Bynum or Boozer. Actually Boozer is more of a true PF, kind of like Gasol. Not sure I like that idea. Say what you will about Odom, but he can play multiple positions whereas Boozer is more limited to one.

Heard this rumor today. Lakers let Odom go, pick up Boozer. Hello back to back titles. The Lakers are more versitile with Odom, but probably more consistent with Boozer. No way could Boozer have guarded Hedo or Lewis in the Finals though... My guess is Kobe restructures his contract and they keep both Odom and Ariza.

You guys can't seriously be comparing what's his name and Shaq? Cleveland would have been playing the Lakers if Shaq was there this year.

Zydrunas Illagauskas wasn't trying (and failing miserably) to guard Hedo and Rashard Lewis... Cleveland should've gotten swept in that series... Not sure an old Shaq would've been the difference... he's not 27 anymore... Dwight routinely beats him up the floor when they play now...

Hedo is available too, btw. Now he would be intruiging to play at the 3 along with Bynum and Gasol. Bring Ariza off the bench or vice versa. However, I think he's going to want more than the Lakers can spend and it would make more financial sense to stick with Odom.

Oh I don't think he's going to the Lakers. I do find it interesting that he didn't even hesitate to opt out in Orlando though.

Orlando could set themselves up nicely, but they need to improve their guard play. A healthy Nelson and a more serviceable 2 guard would help. Also, Howard, needs to continue to develop an actual offensive repetoire that doesn't just rely on garbage buckets and guard penetration and dishing to him. Hedo may find that Orlando may have the best offer for him.
