interesting that even if lsu were to win sect, they dont think they will slide into national seed. i found that odd But if they look at it from a revenue standpoint, the Tigers will get a seed. They would at least triple the revenue from a normal school. I think they have a good shot if the Gators win today and LSU defeats them tomorrow. Tigers hot right now - hitting the ball better than they have all season. Good time to be hot. And the road to Omaha is about to begin.

Gators just beat Kentucky, 6-5, in a nail-biter. Will face LSU in tourney CG tomorrow. Gators swept LSU in regular season.

But the Tigers are playing at a hot pace right now. Not the same team for sure. They are hitting the ball pretty good right now. Plus the Gators pitching staff has pitched in four games, I don't know how deep they are. LSU has had their three starters go deep into each game so far, so the rest of the staff except the 3 starters are ready to go. The team that has the deepest staff should get the nod.
Should be a good game.

Yes this should be a good game. The Gators are playing well right now also, and they just totally outclassed the Tigers in the regular season. I am pretty confident that the Gators will win this game, but you never know. That is why they play the games.

I am pretty confident that the Gators will win this game, but you never know. That is why they play the games. The Tigers are a totally different team. They are hitting the ball right now - no hitting until about two weeks ago and now they are on a tear. If the bats remain hot, Gators are in trouble. Both teams top three pitchers are in the dugout though. Depth of pitching will win the game.

Gators and Tigers scoreless after 4 1/2 innings - with just one hit a piece. Who would have thunk it with all the games they have played - LSU 3 and Florida 4. Deep pitching staffs for sure.

Tigers prevail and win 2 to 0. Tigers have won 5 of the last 7 SEC tournaments with a record of 22-4. Way to geaux Tigers.

I think they will get a seed. They have been pretty impressive lately. The Tigers had more home runs as a team that the entire tournament last year.

Good game and congrats to Tiger fans. Up next is the quest to make it to Omaha. Hopefully, the Gators and the Tigers will represent the SEC in Omaha.

I was surprised at the pitching from both teams. That will help each team in tournament play. Especially in Omaha, that is where pitching depth is really needed.
