Its sad..... people crying "wolf" so much in the world... and when ACTUAL privilege and ACTUAL abuse is going on no one cares or notices....
Funny how NCAA football is now mirroring what the Left is claiming the country is.... epically with the NIL shit coming out and the rich getting richer, more segregation, etc...

The thought was that it eases political pressure in the two states and also ultimately dissolves the league so UT and OU would be off the hook on exit fees. * Once it becomes clear (officially) how quickly Texas and Oklahoma are out of this league, things could start to play out fairly quickly. That means we could be looking at a timeline of weeks, not months, on learning the immediate and long term future of the remaining eight Big 12 institutions." ***************** I heard from eh bringing that UT and OU were "helping" with finding a home for TTU and OKstate in order to make this go well.... that is apparently part of the issue that the Big12 was having with ESPN and the C&D order.... Romors on this "help" include: "OOC garuntees with both teams and the games being carried on the Pac12 TV deal" "Other OOC games with Pac teams with UT/OU " Oklahoma's president said they will/want to continue the Bedlam series with Ok.State in every sport. I think that's the right move. |

Ou, Bama and Ark - maroon. Don't think so Ghost.
Arkansas - The official colors of the University of Arkansas are cardinal and apple blossom.
Bama - The University of Alabama colors are Crimson and White.
OU - The University of Oklahoma colors are Crimson and Cream.
But I will say that sometimes on TV - they don't appear to be red and could be confused for some maroon colors.

Interesting. So if the Big 12 invites others to join them - if a G5 school - they would become a P5 school. IMO, I can see teams lining up and more than ready to join the Big 12. The killer of the deal could be ESPN.
I could see the Big 12 remains adding teams like BYU, Houston, UCF and Memphis. That would take them to 12 teams. That would give the a championship game. But would they retain the P5 status? And they could add a couple of more teams to go to 14 or two more to 16. Cincinnati, Tulane, SMU, and maybe Army and Navy. Again would that lineup be considered a P5 school.
So does the Big 12 remaining teams try to stay together or unite and add more teams? So there are options for them after all.
